Arrived at Golden Foyer and found the location close to the airport very convenient. The free shuttle service to the airport was seamless, costing about 200 Baht. My room, the Deluxe Double Room with Balcony, offered a nice balcony overlooking the river. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, which made for a pleasant rest. I appreciated having tea and coffee facilities in the room. Local markets right outside the hotel were great for exploring, and I enjoyed walking around the area. However, I faced issues with the staff's attitude, particularly during check-in, where I felt underappreciated. The bathroom could use some extra amenities, like hand towels or soap. The noise from the nearby long-tail boats at dusk was a bit disruptive. They were loud but only disturbed the peace for a short time. Despite these hiccups, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it for anyone needing a quick stopover close to the airport.

Location isn't ideal, sitting next to a busy motorway, which can be noisy. Bathroom cleanliness needs attention, especially with discoloration on the grout and an electric shower supplying only lukewarm water. A single bottle of complimentary water for two guests seems stingy, and food from the restaurant can lead to unwanted health issues, as experienced after lunch. The airport shuttle took over 40 minutes for pickup, hardly the seamless operation it’s marketed as.

The location was perfect for a quick overnight stay, with a clean pool and a lively nearby market to explore.
